I am a master-level clinician, Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor in the state of Connecticut. I am a professional member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and have had extensive training in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, stress, mood disorders, and addictive disorders.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Motivational Interviewing (MI), solution-focused approaches, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients overcome negative emotions. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) with a Master’s of Education in School Counseling. My approach to therapy is rooted in a person-centered philosophy, where each client’s unique story, strengths, and values are at the heart of the healing process. I use an integrative style that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based practices to provide strategies that are both practical and meaningful.
I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My clinical interests are especially focused on the treatment of OCD and trauma, where I work collaboratively with clients to reduce distressing symptoms, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build resilience.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), autism, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and interpersonal relationships.
My approach is person-centered and grounded in evidence-based interventions. I mainly draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhealthy thought patterns and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD and anxiety-related concerns. I also incorporate solution-focused strategies, mindfulness practices, and social skills interventions for individuals with ADHD/ADD and on the autism spectrum.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University. My background has always been in the healthcare domain as my MBA is in Healthcare from Temple University. My therapeutic style is rooted in collaborative, culturally sensitive care that is affirmative and non-judgemental. I view psychotherapy as a place to process emotions, develop healthy coping skills, build self-awareness and find meaning in our lives. I believe that clients possess the self-efficacy to heal and evolve from challenges and stuck points in their lives.
